welcome, DESIGNATIONS.

On MONDAY afternoon, some hours after landing on Acquada, then the new amenities to the ship, our super secret living designations will receive a message from Senior Crew. There is a silent ping, so as not to give away anything to those they might be around.

We have decided to combine our meetings together this week and we have objectives we would like to accomplish. They may seem lofty, but with joined efforts we seek to make progress this week.

Sr. Crew

They have seen the command room before in passing. It's the room where the senior crew often check all sort of stuff from metrics, diagnostics, navigation, supply, inventory... You get the point. There are a number of terminals, all of which the current junior crew roles know they do not normally have access to.

There waits all eight senior officers, pensive and tense.

Roles are free to use this post across the IC week.

TL;DR

This is a communal role meeting with new objectives for the eight roles. While not every role will have a specialized task, roles are free to group up on tasks to better processes and increase success rate! Roles may collaborate to test methods or run trials in this post.

The NPCs have posed that immediately they'd like to focus on:

🚀 Preventing murder and death this week.
🚀 Devise a plan to return the dead and implement it. We can pose Friday possibly as being the day to organize with the public if IC help is wanted/needed!

NPCs are interested in other related topics such as the origin of pink haze, CEM waves, etc. and are open to performing investigations or tasks to better understand the situation on the Eudora.

In terms of bringing the dead back, I can open a channel - we were speaking of using that artifact from the Auction to channel energy, correct? And then something about needing enough power and having matching beacons on either side to maintain the connection and restore souls to bodies.

I know I've been able to remove my soul from my body to send to the other side on previous occasions. Something to consider.

Well, once for about two years I lost all of my memories, became an idiot and joined a circus, but apart from that, not really.

It was the worst thing that ever happened to me.

The tesseract acts very much like the High Dimension Core from my home, which is to say that it is a proper source if we follow Blake's journal.

Interdimensional energy source should be covered on this side of the plane.

If energy is not our concern, then our problem is mostly creating the calibrated beacons, yes?

We can send them things through the trash. So we'll just need to make two matching ones.

Is the trash a consistent and effective way for delivery?

The dead got the food I sent them without issue and within a day or so, from the sound of it.

Perhaps we could ask them if they have something that could be of use?

The trash is consistent as far as I could tell, but it might be a question for Viktor.

The beacon thing. Sounds like something to focus on for now -- if we make a powerful enough beacon and find a way to replicate it, could we duplicate it over wherever the dead are?

If the delivery method is reliable, then that should in theory work.

There's also the need to create in-between vessels.

If we test the delivery method out somehow, we'll know for sure. And then that's 50% of a plan at least.
