[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.

the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.

the first space is the party space! it…weirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.

the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.

finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

[ posts something before passing out but shu likely has a drink on him and is just taking his time to try and enjoy the atmosphere. even if it is louder than he’s used to at curfew time.

later he’ll be taking advantage of there being beds that don’t get stolen by a teenager constantly, and actually sleeping on a (glamping) bed for once. wow. comfort. ]

[unsurprisingly he's sitting on one of the couches reading a book, since he's the most boring person in the universe. hi.]

He is, of course, wallflowering; perhaps hardly surprising, holding a drink as he's occasionally watching the others, but not doing much else. ]

[ lovelace is being boring and just sitting somewhere comfortable. doing a little mental headcount. ]

[she is here! she has probably claimed a bed but you can come join her on it. she absolutely has alcohol. it's been a long day.

but - she also is sorting through her inventory absently, which includes all of her photographs, and like six oogh wizards. she's quiet, and probably progressively tipsier as the night goes on. help.]

[ Mizuki will be spending most of the time in the second area, flopped back into an oversized bean bag seat; it looks like she’s busying herself by playing a game over her IRIS. ]

This is such a weird vibe for a Thursday night…

[ shoma is here and should probably be on one of the beds but no, he's up and sitting on a couch with some sort of drink in his less-burned hand and a datapad on his lap. his left eye is still closed but he's scrolling through something, mostly keeping an eye on the room.

progressively, however, he seems to be sinking further and further into the couch and slowly going horizontal. ]

[ kazuki's brought his guitar and haze as usual, but instead of playing, it's been set aside for now. instead, he's gathering chairs and blankets to set up a blanket fort near wherever temenos and throne have settled for the night. come join him!

alternatively, he might come to you with a drink in hand. ] Hey, we should get photos.

closer to the end of the hour, though, kazuki will be settled near the blanket fort, idly playing his guitar. if you have any song requests, let him know and he'll do his best to accommodate anything but wonderwall. ]

[charles is chilling in a beanbag chair, bandaged up and sipping on some boba. he seems to be in as good spirits as ever, albeit tired.]
