[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.

the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.

the first space is the party space! it…weirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.

the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.

finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

This is such a weird vibe for a Thursday night…

I'll be honest, the vibe is always weird on Thursday nights. Last week we had a suika competition.

Whoa, I didn't realize Owner was a dedicated suika enthusiast...

He was like a thousand points up on me.

This is more like a beatdown than a competition...

Hey, I'd barely played until that night. I still beat Keith by a lot.

Pfft. Been practicing since?

I wish. I've been too busy to play games.

[ he makes a face and winces a little when pulling the burnt muscles. but he will have a seat on the floor next to her beanbag, leaning against it slightly. ]

Better. Seriously, don't push yourself.

I'm working on it. [ which is a start. now that he's sitting, he does blink both eyes open. the false one seems to be in right now and he's frowning a little as he blinks again. ] ...I'm just making sure things are okay. Everyone agreed to be here but that's still putting, like, thirty people in one locked room.

[ there's a low noise of agreement and he holds out his hands a little to stare at them, even if they're still shaking slightly. but everything's been healed better so it's not as bad. the eye slowly adjusts and allows him to focus. ]

...Yuri gave me an eyepatch earlier so I can at least trade on and off. But I should probably get used to this.

Yeah...depth perception is completely screwed up and has to recalibrate. [ he knows she knows this, but it's a base response of reporting his observations when he's figuring stuff out. ] I'll probably put the patch on before we fall asleep just to give it a chance to chill out again.
