ALL ROLES ON DECK

welcome, DESIGNATIONS.

On MONDAY afternoon, some hours after landing on Acquada, then the new amenities to the ship, our super secret living designations will receive a message from Senior Crew. There is a silent ping, so as not to give away anything to those they might be around.

We have decided to combine our meetings together this week and we have objectives we would like to accomplish. They may seem lofty, but with joined efforts we seek to make progress this week.

Sr. Crew

They have seen the command room before in passing. It's the room where the senior crew often check all sort of stuff from metrics, diagnostics, navigation, supply, inventory... You get the point. There are a number of terminals, all of which the current junior crew roles know they do not normally have access to.

There waits all eight senior officers, pensive and tense.

Roles are free to use this post across the IC week.

TL;DR

This is a communal role meeting with new objectives for the eight roles. While not every role will have a specialized task, roles are free to group up on tasks to better processes and increase success rate! Roles may collaborate to test methods or run trials in this post.

The NPCs have posed that immediately they'd like to focus on:

🚀 Preventing murder and death this week.
🚀 Devise a plan to return the dead and implement it. We can pose Friday possibly as being the day to organize with the public if IC help is wanted/needed!

NPCs are interested in other related topics such as the origin of pink haze, CEM waves, etc. and are open to performing investigations or tasks to better understand the situation on the Eudora.

"Trying to send this turned HER-MES pink: "there was a garden planet named Lotophages (lotus eaters), which had beautiful flowers and was covered in pink mist. WE suspect it could've been clouds of something like pollen. Could that have been when the ship was infiltrated by whatever plagues it now? It at least exacerbated things."

2. Having the crew roster filled out helps us. It looks like we are meant to figure out the fate of the crew..." I can't see the rest of this, and I can't see the third part very well.

"Talk to Callisto about it. Can you see this y/n. Tell us on Her-Mes without omitting the details."

That's the best I got.

The end of point 2 might include "please share," though I can't make more out.

The last one looks like there are names besides Callisto. Something like Soniya, or Courtney, or Bradley, maybe.

Hm...[ more tiptaps. ] Communications Staff, died of starvation? Research and Development staff, drowned. Chief of Staff, crushed in debris. Maybe...the ways they died are all tied together more closely than we think.

Maybe... our memories are harder to pin down, timewise, but it's possible.

[ looks over at callisto ]

I'll be honest, no matter what names there are, he'll probably be useless for anything from the original 22. They'd be better off asking the Callisto on their side.

So maybe we should ask them to ask that Callisto in our stead and give us answers as best as they can. That's not a bad idea.

Mm. He's the replacement, so based on the original's disappearance I'd say that he's never had contact with the first crew. It's worth shooting back a response along those lines.
