with harley’s toxic jig, shoxue’s shot manages to hit the big monster on arcanette’s side. this guy’s pretty big, so he’s not too hard to hit. it takes damage from shoxue’s shot normally - in fact, you can tell it doesn’t like that, and it shudders miserably… perhaps it might be super effective.
additionally - shouxue, with a 13, i’ll allow you to try to listen to the creature’s thoughts and talk to it. you can hear it gurgling in pain, and its gurgles and growls are garbled - messy, miserable. you think there’s some shade of lucien still, maybe, but the voice that is there just miserably repeats, … cannot…trust…Church… no longer…exist… sorry….hurts…. it hurts…. shouxue! all correct, girl! poor monster friend got real blasted by the unholy mary over there, apparently. he trusted some parts of the church. he looks at you with sad eyes and a mouth full of viktor’s blood, and your arrows hit and hit, slamming into its oozing neck. the monster gurgles, again, miserably, but has yet to go down.
and no crit scope for shouxue who is really holding things together out here, but she does hit. yuri, however, fucking rallies with a [17] and stabs the poison ivy clone like three times. she gasps and melts into the ground, too. that’s three down!
unfortunately yuri no longer has a target, so she is no longer allured by harley’s sexy dance moves. shu nocks an arrow and fires at her but misses with a 7.

[okay well here is the thing, a 15 is a success for mugging but i don't know what you find on this thing. you know what? you get two things. first, you get to beat the shit out of it with your staff, which makes it let go. you collapse in a nasty heap and are drooled on. second, you get a collection of nuts. a critical nut, a slippery nut, and a nourishing nut. the first is an autocrit because y'all need it, the second is an auto-dodge, and the third is a nut that heals you. these nuts roll down the stairs to the rest of you guys.

anyway! lucien unloads his darkness into claude, who takes one to the jaw and one to the chest. he coughs - and then stumbles back, wiping his mouth. almost there, he exhales, eyes bright. you almost have me.
this time, eunhyuk's holy light spell burns his hands - leaves awful welts all up and down his palms. but with harley's buffing, he concentrates, and a spear of light slices down through eunyoo - and slices her in half. she gives him one last betrayed look - gasps eunhyuk - and then she crumbles into dust. another one down!
all that's left is yuri, and what happens here is that between shouxue and shu, a barrage of arrows fly from their bows. one hits yuri in the chest, another hits her in the arm - and then the last one [19] goes right through her throat. she collapses, and melts slowly into the nasty purple goop.
the monster slowly schloops back into a tiny lucien form, staring up at viktor, wheezing.
all that is left is claude, who looks pretty rough, but is coming down the stairs, and arcanette, who is. running. goodbye to her i guess.]

of course, and then shouxue comes in with the steel chair, which is manyue flapping her wings once, twice, and then picking up speed as she slices three rings of darkness at claude, and
