The Eudora is equipped with weapon systems and artillery to clear out asteroids and debris to guarantee safe voyage, including a high-end sonar to detect every bit of litter within our radius. However, whether we can combat the unknown of the void or avoid the encounter is to be debated. Everyone would say I am paranoid because of the very low chance of facing such creatures, but I am thorough.
We may speak of weaponry, our preferred choice of battle, and I will see if it may be applied to our current arsenal.

Ahhh, yes, that. I do agree it is awfully awkward, especially with a crowd like that. But I'm afraid if we try to directly interfere with them ourselves it may cause some serious harm to you all - so it's one of those "have to make do" kind of things. Try to hang in there!

Oh I'm quite aware and prepared for it. Fortunately, I have plenty of experience with dealing with complaints and requests, from those easy to work with and not, haha.
And I understand, Mr. Charles. Some of you are doing your best to accommodate with what you have and offer as much patience as you're willing to give us. I know it's difficult to take my word for it, but I really do wish we could get it here as soon as possible. However, our providers will only be able to send what we need with our next dock and not anytime sooner.

Where possible, we do want to make the Junior Crew's stay here as comfortable as possible. It is my job after all to ensure everyone aboard can hopefully be adjusted to their stay aboard under all the planning and coordinating. I can promise that, at least after our first dock, we should be able to stay on top of things more efficiently.

well, the ship itself can be used as a weapon via battering ram. cannons and arrows - including flaming ones - would be used for long range, though a lot of naval warfare where i'm from involves fighting in close quarters when you manage to board the enemy's ship. not sure if that would apply here.
