Ahhh, yes, that. I do agree it is awfully awkward, especially with a crowd like that. But I'm afraid if we try to directly interfere with them ourselves it may cause some serious harm to you all - so it's one of those "have to make do" kind of things. Try to hang in there!

Oh I'm quite aware and prepared for it. Fortunately, I have plenty of experience with dealing with complaints and requests, from those easy to work with and not, haha.

And I understand, Mr. Charles. Some of you are doing your best to accommodate with what you have and offer as much patience as you're willing to give us. I know it's difficult to take my word for it, but I really do wish we could get it here as soon as possible. However, our providers will only be able to send what we need with our next dock and not anytime sooner.

Where possible, we do want to make the Junior Crew's stay here as comfortable as possible. It is my job after all to ensure everyone aboard can hopefully be adjusted to their stay aboard under all the planning and coordinating. I can promise that, at least after our first dock, we should be able to stay on top of things more efficiently.

Haha, we wouldn't exactly be able to handle proper deliveries and tasks without taking a trip down. So yes, you will have an opportunity to do some sightseeing.

how much of a culture shock can some of us expect at these destinations?

Well, for those familiar enough with space and spacial travel, nothing too bad. Anyone else? Possibly a lot, it's hard to say. You all come from different worlds, don't you? Though I can say the set of destinations we have for this tour is all new for me, that's for certain.

Well, these may not be planets the Senior Crew have visited personally, but we have worked and tended to quite a few planets in our tours before. So everything should run along just fine, don't worry.

That's right, the whole Senior Crew has been. We actually all arrived on the Eudora about the same time as well.

sorry if i missed it, but how does the recruitment process usually work? i can't even imagine how the company even approached me to begin with.

It's a generally simple process from what I remember. They reach out and offer the opportunity to come work for them, go over the application process... and, well, you apply.

how do they normally reach out? did someone approach you, invite you to a remote island somewhere, insert thoughts into your head, etc.?

Haha nothing nearly as dramatic as that. No, they approached me in my own world and requested a moment of my time.
