First, the author behind the security journal and the salon journal is part of the combat systems, as they reference that being their job. That means "Gavin" is also part of the same department.

Second, going by the reviews, Ellya is part of the medical department. The man named Rhys in the lockers video with Amalthea is presumably part of hydroponics.

Next, there's a man with a tattooed hand that appears in the cargo bay journal and the lockers video. He's also referenced in the salon journal, though not by name. Not sure if this means Courtney is one of the people in the video involved with, uh... the love affair.
