[ Metis will show up shortly after the ping, curiously looking around the cafe before he comes to join her. He looks... relatively better! No sign of wetware, all crystal still. Robes are freshly clean but some rust is beginning to stain his upper torso. The same it's been this week. ]

she's settled in the cafe, drinking tea absently. when she sees him, she gives him a look over to see if he's doing okay... once she sees that he's about as good as he can be, she puts her book down and pushes a chair out for him to sit if he wants.

... I'm alright. [everybody is kind of just, Sad, today. so she's been soaking in those vibes, and it's making her more somber than she has been in weeks.] I just... wanted to see you.

[ Understandable, really. This place is.. a lot. He certainly does not allow himself but he would not fault people who turn to a glass or two.

I have before. At some point, a bit before all your arrivals, my mind had been.. heavily set overly focusing on just working at the risk of no sleep. A more extreme than I normally am, shockingly enough.
I only realized as we begun to get more of our memory back, how overworked my body was.

Metis's capsule is, for lack of a better word, busy. Though it isn't a complete mess or disaster, it does imply some business no matter where you look. There are numerous shelves with actual physical books, despite the many monitors that have various notes and data showing on the screen. However, concerning the data mining, none of it can actually be read and prove any attempts to be pointless. The books though seem to be various subjects, stories, and range from just about anything you could probably find in a normal library. Their desk is littered with paperwork, some stacks and a few scattered about.
Most of the room is illuminated by a blue glow from the screens, but there's a bed tucked off to the side with a softer golden glow. The bed itself is covered in dark red sheets and looks, for the most part, untouched. As if the owner of said room will occasionally fall asleep on the bed but not really make the effort to climb under the sheets. Though the room is still futuristic in hindsight, there's something quite older in times with the room's layout.

And he most certainly is looking to her face first, just to take in her expression and general idea of her mood. She may not look upset, given the smile and no hint of it but it does look like she's been crying? So of course he looks to her with a gentle concern.

Ha... Comes with the territory, I think. But I dedicate myself to keeping secrets, so regardless - it won't leave this space.
While the Eudora itself is compromised, there are many resources still available on board that I think we could all benefit from even after this is all over.
If something was once another thing entirely, there likely exists the technology to return it to itself.
The recovery pods exist, after all, and we were able to retrieve our dead.
It's certainly something we could look into.
