[she's okay! but she does absolutely have a bare neck, which he can see now that he's close - no collar. it's gone, leaving behind just the faintest hint of discolored skin in a ring around her neck.]

That is a relief to hear.
[ His gaze dips to her neck, hand lowering in turn to gingerly touch that line. It's featherlight and he pulls back a moment after, not wanting to intrude too much in her personal space. But he shows a soft smile at that. ]
