[ space storms! she's taken notes by hand, as well, rather than relying on her I.R.I.S. as she works. ]
We already have enough problems, we have to keep the system that's set up in grids from crashing - otherwise I'd say we could flip all of them back online. [ tossing her head to fix her helmet hair. ] What's in Montwise?
[ hell yeah she is. he will pluck one of those off the top of the pile to read it without asking because he's a snot but also because he knows he can get away with it. ]
A library. The largest in Solistia, and even within the Crestlands, but quite far from Flamechurch nonetheless. I've made quite a few trips in my years as an inquisitor.
[ they've been too reliant on the system, they're all going to be making a switch from trusting the tech entirely and backing their things up with analog. she doesn't even bat a cybernetic eye at him taking the sheet - it's just a lot of notes about the effects of CEM and galactic storms, along with the weekly effects that they've encountered + what she's learned about the mission their group went on and
the one that the NPCs went on last week. it was to a place called barbie land, apparently. anyways. ]
I suppose ours can't quite compare to that, if it's the largest in your home. [ adrastea finishes writing something, and reaches underneath her helmet to withdraw... a datapad. ] The good news is that ours did what it was supposed to do. I have something for you, Nodd, and Shoma.
[ but, yes. temenos hits play, and she scootches her chair closer to him to peer at the datapad.

... I can't place who these people are. [ murmured, after she sees the other individual joins the first. for a moment, her expression pinches with pain. ] But it's like when you have something on the tip of your tongue.
My tolerance for pain is high, so this isn't particularly bothersome to me. It does hurt, though, so the dam hasn't been broken through just yet.
[ reaching to rub at one of the panels of her wetware implanted around her eyes, frowning as she thinks. ]
Europa and I are from the same world - the same nation, even. They are the one I trust the most, and who I would tell you to go to if something were to happen to me. [ that one's immediate. ] My team - Amalthea, Metis, and Thebe - are people that I've taken responsibility for, and whose company I enjoy for different reasons. They're good people.
The other three... Io and I are friendly, and I've put my life in their hands more than once. Ganymede is a bit of a bleeding heart, but there's no one else I would go to when I have questions about space or the technology that we're not familiar with.
But Callisto has changed since this tour started. I can't say I trust them anymore.
[ she's quiet, as she thinks about how to word this. trying to reach into what she can remember. ]
... we originally thought it was because they were taking their promotion seriously, but I can't exactly trust my memories of more idyllic things as we work our way through the haze. But they were far more friendly, before. Less abrasive and more empathetic.
[ he nods, slightly - reaching into his pockets to pull out his notebook and taking out a pen to write things down somewhere in the middle. ]
That's alright. Every bit helps, though I may question you about it again, once some time has passed. You understand. [ there's a brief quirk of a smile there, blink and you'll miss it. ]
Would you call them angrier, now? Is it consistent? Or does it fade in and out?
[ eyes fluttering open again, whirring as they refocus. it's almost affectionate? ]
Their behavior is consistent. I wouldn't necessarily call them angrier, but they aren't particularly friendly. Many, I imagine, would accuse Europa of similar behavior, but they're our oldest by far more than centuries, and much of it was spent isolating themself from mankind to keep them safe. They're simply... unaccustomed to it.
No, and the seven remaining of us have all taken our helmets off around one another. Even those whose wetware is less pleasing to look at, underneath. I've told them to take it off and they haven't.

Adrastea. Perhaps I might ask you a question of the crew that currently remains. What is your take on each of them?
