Their behavior is consistent. I wouldn't necessarily call them angrier, but they aren't particularly friendly. Many, I imagine, would accuse Europa of similar behavior, but they're our oldest by far more than centuries, and much of it was spent isolating themself from mankind to keep them safe. They're simply... unaccustomed to it.
No, and the seven remaining of us have all taken our helmets off around one another. Even those whose wetware is less pleasing to look at, underneath. I've told them to take it off and they haven't.
