No, not much. I would mail my masters' letters if that is what they request. That is my extent of communications support before the Eudora.

It is uncommon, but I wouldn't say it's rare.

I'll have to take your word for it. I've not lived in any ye olde manors before.

I have a decent resume for taking care of the manor, so you can trust me on that. At least for my world.

Many of you have different ideas of normal.

Space travel's still kind of... stuck in books and movies. Commercial space travel, or recreational at least. That I can handle.

Other stuff? Who knows.

I don't believe traversing the stars was something people considered in my world... or perhaps they are slowly approaching those kind of dreams. Fantastical stories have always been around, of course.

Stories are what make people think about trying these things though, right? Read enough sci-fi, and you might end up obsessed with the idea of going into space.
