I don't believe traversing the stars was something people considered in my world... or perhaps they are slowly approaching those kind of dreams. Fantastical stories have always been around, of course.
Stories are what make people think about trying these things though, right? Read enough sci-fi, and you might end up obsessed with the idea of going into space.
One was something Teach left me. Less an idea and more a goal. [ and that’s all he’s really saying about that. ]
The other is just something a guy I know believes in, and puts action to. It’s not a bad way of doing things, even if he does stick his nose in places he shouldn’t in the process. If people out there are going to decide they’re right to justify the crap they do, why not do the same in order to ruin their day?
The usual big city problems. Corruption, some of it in the police force. New Sieg's got a big human trafficking issue under the surface, and a particular organisation with its fingerprints over a lot of problems that seems to have become our problem now.
