PLANET DOSSIER
your dossier for the css eudora's current spring route
Welcome to your planet dossier for this spring tour of the CSS Eudora. The first full week of your tour will be spent acclimating to your brand new home away from home and getting to know your Senior Crew. Afterwards, you will start your intergalactic voyage along the CSS Eudora's Spring Route.
Below are links to the various planets that the CSS Eudora will be traveling to throughout Spacecoast. Some locations may beget interesting pieces of information and can be explored further beyond a surface level over at the Planet Mini-CYOA sign up.
(Note: Planet Mini-CYOAs for the week will open on Sundays upon receipt of dossier and will remain open until Wednesday @ 3 PM EST / 12 PM PST or until they have reached maximum capacity, at which point we will close them.)
At this time, crew cannot curfew planetside on Thursdays.

VOLK 92-B (PRONOUNCED 𝘍𝘖𝘓𝘒)
Population: 20,300
Technological Range: Energy emitted from the planet's core provide the Volk with all of the energy they need. Technology is built purely for function, able to tolerate the heat here.
Inspo Board: Here
Unique Characteristics: A planet with crushing gravity and mountainous terrain, Volk 92-B is home to sturdy, biomechanical humanoids that able to withstand the intense gravity of the planet. They're very knowledgeable when it comes to geology and engineering. They do, however, tend to be people of very few words and are primarily all work and no play.
The Jr. Crew must wear a complex exoskeleton, the A.R.G.O., in order to traverse Volk 92-B safely. The temperatures on Volk 92-B are almost unbearably hot to most, but the A.R.G.O. will create a temperature-regulated personal atmosphere to keep them safe.
That, and being the vehicle for their export of valuable elements, isolated for individual use and packaged for a variety of distant stars. Meanwhile, the Eudora arrives, importing necessary parts for their anti-gravity units and body armor that prevents what remains of their organic organs from being crushed by the gravity.
General Locations:
⚙️ The Workshop: Here, you can find a number of tools that the Volk utilize in their daily work, primarily for repairs and replacements. There are all kinds of drills, hammers, screws, nails, sheet metal, and more. Take only what you need and not more or you'll find yourself stuffed into a locker by one of the Volk.
⚙️ Training Facility: This is a massive gym with everything you could possibly think of, and it is gravity-regulated meaning you are able to remove your exo suits here and only here. The Volk have to maintain what biological muscle they have still, so you'll see a variety of weights (free and stationary), a massive climbing wall, group treadmills, and an enormous hot springs to relax in afterwards.
⚙️ Drainage Tunnels: With all of the mining going on, drainage tunnels are an inevitability. A hot slurry of mineral paves the way downwards. There are crates full of equipment if you want to go down. Rock lobsters are working diligently at maintaining the tunnels, bemoaning that there is nothing to eat down here if you listen close.
A colossal structure that can be seen upon the Eudora's landing, skeleton-shaped and curling around the entire crater that makes up Volk 92-B's colony. The bones seem to have dug into the rockface, clinging so that its silhouette looms over the colony at all times.
THE BASTION:
The tallest landmark on Volk 92-B's main structure. Reinforced with enormous heat-resistant supports on either side, the tower houses one massive drill that continuously chips away at Volk 92-B's tough crust and loosens up the valuable minerals below.
THE CORE:
Accessible via a tram that will take you down towards an observation deck in the center of the planet. The air down here is incredibly hot and you can hear the creaking of your A.R.G.O. just barely keeping you yourself from being folded like a pretzel from the intense gravity. But... the Core is quite a beautiful sight. Just don't stare too long.
