[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.

the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.

the first space is the party space! it…weirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.

the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.

finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

I've been keeping myself busy! I got the idea after we pinned down a location during the meeting on Tuesday. After I got some design help from Todo-chan, I made a few stops by the strip mall to print 'em in between rounds of hauling stuff from the cargo bay up here.

It's a little crazy they can just do this, huh. [ matchies! it's been a wild, wild journey on this stupid ship. ]

...you know, I'm not gonna discount any attempts at staying busy and keeping morale boosted while we're getting closer and closer to the hub. I should've guessed Todomatsu was involved, too. Consider me impressed with your time management skills.

We all gotta play to our strengths and do what we do best, right? Lifting spirits and heavy shit are basically what I was born to do, heh.

Well I'm not gonna say you aren't good at it, dude. We could use all the help in both of those departments as we can get. And it seems like it worked, even just a little.

[ he just returns the smile as he relaxes back on his haunches... bed soft. ]

How're you holding up, by the way? Need a heal jab?

Rodya and Amalthea already shot me since we got here, and Anise did in the medbay earlier. I think I'm okay for now on that front. [ he says, still mostly horizontal. ] This one was somehow even worse than the last, but...it's over.

Some people have all the luck, am I right? [ just a little sarcastic there. ] Still felt like I should at least offer, though. Least we have some actual beds this time!

Guess you could say I hit the jackpot. [ equally dry. ] I do appreciate the offer though and...might take you up on it later if one of the others doesn't need another boost. The beds were, like, the one requirement I had for doing this even before we left. Kinda felt unfair to tell everybody to cram into one spot and make them sleep on the floor.
