[ hello. welcome to ballroom. we really appreciate you coming!! the doors are locked and the whole gang's here. "including baiken?" yeah! senior crew as well.

the current set-up of this ballroom seems to have been split off into three separate spaces.

the first space is the party space! it…weirdly looks like what you'd almost expect from a high school prom? it's fancy decor, beautiful decorations, and all of the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) you could ever want. somehow there's a purikura booth set up as well for some cute photo ops, and there are plenty of tables, chairs, and floor space for anyone who wants to dance or play party games with your friends. we have an hour, go nuts.

the second space is a little less intensive, decorated with beanbag chairs and couches. a large projection screen is on the wall to stream movies, and there are a few library books for your perusal, along with some board games. this is the zone for those looking for something a little more chill.

finally, there is a cute little glamping set-up (not entirely photo accurate) with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. you may have to share a bed with a friend, but it's better than the floor, right? stake your claim and get cozy. we're in for a long night. ]

[ keith is here in the second space, slouched in one beanbag chair and kosmo curled up in another. he's here to chill and watch a movie, maybe play a board game... which kosmo is actually going to go pick out.

he's got simple sweatpants on, with a loose shirt, and a bomber jacket w/orange lettering draped over his shoulders. half his face is bandaged up and the jacket hides his stumpy right arm. but hey! he's vibing. it's fine.

That'd be nice. And moving around is probably a good thing, don't want to get too stiff. [ he's gonna be achy all over for a while, but we will push through. ]

[ the faces are the funniest part of vld actually. anyway, they're at the booth! he'll let keith settle in first since kazuki doesn't really need to sit anyway, and sets up the timer. ]

[ gentle pets on the snoot. sorry if he got your fur dirty earlier, bud. but he does look up at keith and blinks a little to show him there is a new eye! it's a false one, and he's very much not used to it, but it's there. ]

Should be asking you the same about your arm, I think.

[ shoma might get the feeling that kosmo forgives him, clear by how he licks his cheek (face). and ooooo!! eye!! that makes him smile, seeing that shoma's doing better already. yippee. ]

Ah, well I got the port and everything set up, just don't really feel like dealing with the arm right now.

[ so for now it will remain a wrapped stump. but it's fine. ]

[ good boy. we are all improving!! but this was still bad!! though there is a sympathetic grin to that. ]

Yeah, I...didn't exactly put the eye in immediately either. It's still a little uncomfortable and I don't know if I'll keep it full time. Another weird thing to get used to, right?

Just add to the already long list, yeah. [ pats his shoulder ] Maybe we can figure out something to do together, to help us get used to the new parts. Once we're properly rested.

[ whatever that would be for an eye... help. at least keith is ambidextrous, so it won't be too horrible. ]

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Fetch with Kosmo at the dog park maybe? Hand-eye coordination, and some exercise for him. [ scritches for baby. this is assuming kosmo will actually fetch but whatever, details. ]
