The missions came to us assigned through Nut & Bolt, typically. Whether they legitimately came from the company or through another means is something I would call into question, at this point, but we have no way of confirming considering how long it took us to hear from some nobody named Jeff.
I'm both relieved and disappointed it's not flowers, if only because it opens up a whole new line of questioning. [ he furrows his eyebrows together. ] Seriously though who the hell is Jeff. Is he even a real employee?

No, there's no way to tell. The same as there's no way to tell if correspondence or our missions that we're given to clear up galactic storms are from Nut & Bolt.
The only thing we can guarantee are the Eudora's AI, when it does announcements or sends out alerts, and our own messages from the Senior Crew. Io is the one that writes the ones that you all receive at the start of the week when we make planetfall.
That's good to know where those are coming from, at least. [ ... ] And I guess there's no progress at all in trying to reach anybody else? Not even Nut & Bolt, just anyone else at all to see who we can communicate with about the problems the Eudora's facing.
