[ Outside the mansion is a truly treacherous space. If you thought the twisting tunnels of rime and frost were bad, this place is something entirely different -- an utter hellscape of frost, like you've just stepped into very Cocytus itself. Jagged icicles line every edge and surface, a crystalline blue periodically stained with blood under its surface.

Here, the dead don't stay dead -- you see abominations begin to free themselves from their icy prison, frozen neighbours with pickaxes, knives, hammers in hand, coming after you. You'll note that their faces are very familiar, faces from both your pasts before the Eudora, but also the more recently deceased faces you've come to know. Sam. Eunhyuk. Viktor. Mizuki. For some reason Arthur is here again.

The entire place is shaking, violently. In the lower reaches of the basement, you see a bright and golden glow, tendrils of hopeful light shining, as if guiding you towards it.

And as you come closer, the scenery changes. It's still an awful wasteland of ice, but now there's something more -- acrid smoke, clearly the frontlines of a war. Emaciated frozen bodies roar and fight against mutated soldiers with animalian, mostly insectoid features that aren't natural by any means, one look at them will tell you that. The air is thick with the stench of blood, an all-out war that isn't real but it also is. ]
