[ Situationed in the Rec Room is Metis here, rummaging through some of the physical games. Boards, cards, all with a curious tilt of their helm. ]

There are a lot more than I expected to find... [ They raise their head. ] Ah, Lady Lovelace. Come to take a look for yourself?

Yeah, I figured... not a bad way to waste time.

[ and she figures she should get to know the senior crew a little more. ]

It's certainly a way to keep one busy. I'm afraid I'm not so keen on a good handful of these myself, I know of a few card games... mahjong... with such unlimited choices here, makes me feel like a child again.

[ It's said with some light amusement. ] What of you? Anything familiar that strikes out?

What, you stopped playing games when you grew up?

[ she will peer over the options, but... shrugs. ] Eh. We played a lot of cards. But there's nothing wrong with a classic boardgame.

More that I was far too absorbed in books. And still am, at that.

[ A small laugh. ]

Good thing there's a bookstore on this planet, then. It's easy to run out of things to read, up there.

... Not really. Anything besides Funzo is fine by me.

I had been meaning to give it a look, though Imagine they have rather specific tastes.

Ha. [ haha! ] There's some variety. But if you're looking for vampire drama it's... easier to find than anything else.

It's a bad, bad game. We do not need to discuss the bad game.

Ah, what a shame. [ The knowledge of Funzos, gone... they don't sound actually upset. Just a bit amused. ] Well, I've gotten quite the appetite to try something new, would you be interested in accompanying me in a game or two?

[ Mystery game selection time. ]

They do not, I am afraid. [ Their turn, hmm... ] Does yours have.. blue skin?

This version is kind of messed up, huh?

[ There's a.. hint of amusement. ]

One that likely tries to keep in mind the various denizens and people to be found on these worlds.

[ Well, at least they're getting somewhere? A tap to the bottom of their helm. ] Does your person have horns?

[ well coming out to meet lovelace, yay... nature... touches grass. they'll just give a brief lift of the hand to her as they make their way through the snow, they are bundled up for the cooooold. hey, lovelace. ]

Fresh air... feels good after that last drop-off.

[ she is equally bundled up for the weather! ]

Yeah. Feels a little closer to home.

[ the word is fun let me say it one more time... bundled... ]

[ off we go! into the snow! io seems to glance at a small map from time to time, but the landscape is actually quite nice for being Cold - big thick trees, a sky that ripples on occasion with a little bit of the magnetic fields overhead as an aurora. ]
