That's good.

[sheba would very much prefer there not be any abnormal behavior with the ship! not while they're stuck on it.

the pillow wiggles, and she looks back at the eyes that appear. hello! she gives it a small smile and a wave.]

It must be pretty shocking for him, going from just eight of you being around to there being forty-seven of us.

[alas! no normalcy for anyone on this ship.

haze, who had been tucked into sheba's cloak, peeks out and starts to float down to get a better look at son - but she catchces him and pulls him back. nuh-uh. no freaking son out today, haze.]

...I'm alright. It's taking some getting used to, is all. [...] I heard someone's thoughts earlier and thought... maybe my Psynergy was working again. But that's not what was happening, was it? It's just everybody reacting to the nanites.

Oh... yes. I guess in other worlds it would just be called "magic"? It's a bunch of different things. But one of my abilities was to read minds.

[it's so weird to not be able to cheat and know exactly what someone else is thinking. tch.

she keps hold of haze, letting son get a good look at the djinni. haze wriggle a little, then raises one little paw to wave. hewwo.]

[sheba loosens her hold on haze so that the djinni can come a little closer to son. it goes more carefully this time, though.]

It definitely came in handy when I really needed it to... but it feels a little strange having other people able to hear my thoughts in turn.

I can imagine. The thoughts themselves are probably odd enough for people, but the feelings, too...

[she shrugs. it's very distracting.

haze approaches, then! and comes to rest just near where son is sitting, curling up a little and leaning into him. hello.]
