Oh... yes. I guess in other worlds it would just be called "magic"? It's a bunch of different things. But one of my abilities was to read minds.

That's a pretty great power, considering...

I guess we've all got a little bit of that ability instead.

[sheba loosens her hold on haze so that the djinni can come a little closer to son. it goes more carefully this time, though.]

It definitely came in handy when I really needed it to... but it feels a little strange having other people able to hear my thoughts in turn.

It is a little strange... hoping this doesn't last too long. Hard to get work done this way.

[ thebe is very quiet and still while son just watches the djinni float forward. his head bobs a little bit up and down before his neck leans out again to sniff sniff... you may approach. ]
