Intergalactic travel laws are very strict. Even if we cut our tour short, no planet will allow us to overstay our contracted welcome without documentation. If we were able to get through one layer of the process, we would be docked but forced to stay inside the ship until Nut & Bolt retrieves us.
Disobeying these laws is enough to bypass court and law, instead sending us to prison. From what I read, we would be separated into categories, then likely sent to different worlds or universes to live out our sentence.
Hm... I think there may have been a miscommunication. When you asked if ending the tour early was an option, I had thought you meant dock on a planet and not proceed with the route, which is what the tour entails.

you haven't done anything like that, but ultimately, it feels like we're being told that we just have to deal with it. or argue why we shouldn't just all be placed in cryosleep, apparently.
I would ignore Callisto's insistence... They have been rather tense ever since the first week. Cryosleep isn't an option due to needing majority vote from the whole crew and the rest of us seniors are against it to begin with. It'd be too cruel to be a victim of a fate you can try to defy.

Some prefer to cope through working nonstop, which would be Metis, Ganymede, and Io. Europa and Thebe are likelier to retract and find refuge within themselves, I suppose. The former preferring distance, but they are affected and struggling nevertheless. Callisto is irate and volatile lately...
