I was killed, once. A few years back - she scattered my soul to the Astral Plane and beyond. Broken enough it could not easily be fixed - though, eventually, it was repaired. Well enough to serve at any rate. The problem was that my body was independent of myself - it had been taken by a parasite. An influence that took it as its own.
