There are no changes between the nanites on Thursday nights during lockdown compared to their state during the rest of the week. They also aren't the cause for why powers are locked down, it seems. But that leads us to the question of what is, and why we were lead to believe that to the point of telling all of you that when you woke from stasis.
[ there's no actual doc for us to pass out. but lucien will get the full docket of information comparing adrastea and metis' nanites on thursday to past samples taken from earlier in the week, their health from the blood sample, the functions they have access to (higher security clearance but not much else more than you guys), along with his own health from blood and the functions he has access to with his nanites. the functions are the credentials to enter/exit their assigned rooms, the galley, and everything relating to the I.R.I.S. ]

CEM can cause them and be caused by them, and they're the primary reason for the missions that we've had so far - to clear them up. But we don't have any memories of any particularly unusual ones during our winter tour. Because, yes, we have terrible memory problems that we're only just coming out of. And barely.
CEM is shorthand for cosmoelectromagnetic. I'm not from a world that has all of this jargon, so honestly it gets tedious to me. CEM waves are the cause of these weekly effects, though, and when they gather and bunch up they can cause storms sometimes. Galactic storms can also cause them, even if CEM waves aren't the original source of the storm in question.

So this CEM is now responsible for everything? Rather than nanites? You'll excuse me if I start finding each of these explanations sillier than the last.
What about these old names? Has anyone spoken to you about them?
CEM waves have always been responsible for the effects. If anything, the nanites help to soften the blow, so to speak, but considering the mixed information that's apparently been filtering in and out while we've been tapped down in our haze, I don't particularly blame you for that.
