We do, yes. It's on a higher level of the ship, and the grid it's on is currently down - not enough to put us out on the streets, so to speak, but in such a way that it's off limits to anyone that's not us.
And it's also harder to get to. Half of the officers don't bother going back to their rooms most of the time, which is how you can find Io constantly catching a nap in the medbay or Ganymede in the lounge.

Unfortunately, our warping doesn't take us very far. But I'm used to the access tunnels and ventilation system, so I don't particularly mind it. [ she doesn't disagree, though - it is worth it.

being family-ish. it's a nice sentiment, if you let yourself have it - but what hits the most, in the end, is the core of this memory. what leads into the final note. what is so deeply, achingly familiar, to someone that has been left behind to survive, that has lost and been unable to do anything about it.
