[ Well, on the chance he doesn't remember, there will be a helpful red glowing line to lead Shoma the way. Exploring a new gate means remembering the routes from that position.

Anyways, once Shoma comes by the room, the doors will open with a soft hisss and allow him access. Metis is seated at the table, poking away at their data pad with some snacks set off to the side along with a couple of books. Their postures straightens when he enters the room, turning to face him with a kind warmth in their tone. ]

It should resolve itself possibly tomorrow. Wednesday at the latest. Certainly before this week's delivery tasks. [ A nod. ] It's something from home. Normally I always have it on hand but.

[ Good. There's a selection of drinks, again as if unsure what to decide on, coffee, tea, juice, soda... Metis is a good caretaker. ]

Everything will be properly debriefed to you all on Wednesday when we provide you all with a working uniform. And it'll be my group's turn to oversee so we won't leave you all to your devices alone.

[ Dedicated babysitters. But ah, hm. ]

I do remember arriving with it, so yes it was with me then. It must be in my room somewhere.

[ looks at shoma's pathetic ass. this is fair, thank you. he's also snagging some coffee this time while he listens. ]

Your group...so you, Amalthea, Adrastea and Thebe? How'd you guys split yourselves up? [ he will come back to the staff in a bit, he is thinky. ]

[ Per the norm, they help themselves to a cup of tea as they slide it in front of themselves. No sip just yet, especially with the helm still on. ]

That's right. We're split between Ganymede, Europa, Callisto and Io for one group, and the rest of us in the other. It naturally worked out that way based on some of the Seniors we worked under in our first tour.

[ he assumes metis knows they can take off their helmet and sip their tea again and does not care about the hood they also have. ]

How well do you get along with those in your group then? [ are you guys friends...he really came here to ask them about the information he received and instead he's nosy about this. ]

[ Well, they wait for a moment as if Shoma would Disagree but they do eventually pry their helmet off to set aside. They smooth out the top of their hood as they do before moving to sip their tea. ]

Very well I would say. We all take care of one another. [ This is said with genuine warmth in their tone, they really do like their group. ]

Better than this group. [ hm. ] I mean not that the people here are bad. It's just that I don't know if every single person would actually take care of each other when push comes to shove.

In comparison to our eight within the Senior Crew, there are a number of persons in your crew with their own goals, desires and wants in mind.

[ A quiet tilt of their head, their tone light and considering. ] It is difficult to say with how much time has passed but I would say there are those who would. And I would think that counts for something.

...sure. There's always good people intermingled with the not-so-good ones. So it's just about finding them and hoping they make up for the people who won't.

[ he shakes his head though and takes another drink. ]

Anyway, that's not why I came here. I wanted to talk to you about something that came on my I.R.I.S after I picked my route with you.

[ Shoma moves on, so they continue on without adding on but they do nod to show they agree. ]

Oh... yes, I'm fine. [ Doing their best to reassure, recomposing themselves and lowering their hands to their lap. ]

Incredibly lucky. Even if I have no idea what it all means. But does that mean you think it's possible something else like this can happen when I pick the next path? I'm not even sure what to do with this right now.

It's a possibility, it's happened once already so, I would not say it's impossible. [ A head tilt, pondering... ] ... If you do so anonymously, it should be fine for you to share this finding. As long as it doesn't connect back to you and potentially risk telling your role, it should be fine.
