[ continues to do his best with taking these notes. help.
just as he's finished writing that down, he notices kosmo's demeanor. ]
Hey, hey, Kosmo. [ steps over to put a hand on dog and soothe, while looking up at the bull. ]
There's got to be a better way for us to understand each other...[ looks at the ground i guess??? since the bull keeps pawing at it. can't his iris auto translate what the bull is saying... or are we not able to utilize that function here?]
[ ya know. i initially thought of that and then second guessed myself.
keith is switching over to that, because writing whatever this is down is hard. now that he's recording this entire conversation... ]
Is there something wrong with the earth? [ again. because the bull keeps stomping the ground. and maybe its not just the bull's mannerisms that's making kosmo agitated. ]
[ yeah it is really difficult to actually phonetically write it out for sure. thank goodness for technology.
the bull just shakes its head, reaching up a stubby, strong leg to try and paw at its own ear before stomping on the ground again. ]
Khatar naada hoog-zhoya... Ukherney ereed baina gyy?
[ pawing... pawing... ]
Khyyr...
[ if he has a look at the ground, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, but as he is trying to talk to the bull, that may or may not understand him because it is a bull, it tosses its head, its shiny bell clanging. ]
[ blinks his eyes. that bell is so shiny my guy, is blinded (no). ]
I see.
Ah, you wouldn't happen to know something about missing persons, would you? Figure you see a lot of things and a lot of people, coming and going, while standing out in this field.
[ that's something he still has to ask about this. help. ]
[ blinded by fireflies. blinded by cowbell. what's next?
keith is really trying to have a conversation with this cow who maybe gave him some interesting words... syllables... is this bull talking or speaking gibberish? is this even a bull?
it's definitely just a bull...
the bull just huffs and leans down to chomp on a big mouthful of grass, chewing slowly at him. kosmo is still kind of fiddly, kind of pawing in place on the ground, tappy feets but unhappy. his ears are swiveling but there's just the soft rustling of the grasses. ]
[ can't wait for keith to find out everything that the bull has been saying isn't real. he's going to sound crazy to everyone else when they regroup. ]
Kosmo, buddy, what's wrong?
[ pets wolf... is he like fixated on something in particular or just the bull??
gazes as the bull spits at his boots. ]
Does this mean you want us to leave or is there something else you want to say?
[ man kosmo's ears are just swiveling all over, but eventually just. hone in... in the direction of the plant. eventually. wolf will calm. bull even just leans in and noses the wolf gently before stepping back a little and shaking it's head again, ears flopping.
[ yeah the regroup just means you're gonna get fucking arrested, this is my prison fuck house now (no, that was heroes.)
the bell is a beautiful, shiny bell. there's a little chip in the clapper upon closer examination... and the leash is well-worn and just hanging, as though the sleeping owner just trusts the bull to stay here and graze instead of running off.
it lets out one last kind of half-groaning noise that shifts into a full on "moo" as it picks up some more grass with its teeth.
[ is the bell and leash all that's on the bull? bulls usually have a little tag on the ear, yeah? looks at it's ear.... also checking it's horns. if this bull is branded i'll be so sad, also.
but, as keith is inspecting, he'll notice there's like. a bite mark on one of this bull's haunches... right by the brand, which is how he catches it it. just a big old MOMF. thankfully it looks like it's been healing, at least.
[ the brand is just a brand... for fleisch enterprises.
the bite mark is indiscernible. it looks kind of like just a bunch of... incisor bites if that makes sense, they're like just long/flat weird tooth marks. but clearly sharp enough to pierce through a bull's hide and meat.

it doesn't translate this language very well.
but it does have a voice recording function. you're not attached to the eudora's network, but you can keep your own personal recordings easy peasy. ]
