Pairs were helpful to us before as well. And this time, there's not the stress of maintaining aliases, either, short of the mask of investigators. Hardly a mask for us when it's a duty once a week, anyway, and certainly in line with my duties prior to this place.

Better to have someone watch your back at all times, isn't it? Especially when we only have a little information to go on...we can ask them and be sure that they're comfortable with it, but I think pairs is the best route. And then Io said he'd set a timer for us anyway to group up again. We can go from there.

I agree that talking with the locals, to start, might get us clues on what's causing this. They'd know be able to differentiate between what's normal here and what's not.

If it gets to that point... it will take quite a bit out of me, but on my prior 'mission', I ended up having to resurrect one of our cadre. If the conditions here are right, I can do so, should we need it.
