You four were hired by the Eudora, a mysterious group that you suspect is led by powerful mages of some nation or empire who have enlisted you to find them treasures: books and artifacts, anything that could be of value. This is common. The mages of these types of institutions tend to keep their hands clean of the messy business of delving into the ruins of Aeor, both for the optics and because the death rate is incredibly high. There’s a reason you’re paid so handsomely for the trouble. You have been here for a while, having found a few things of interest already: a few gemstones, some trinkets made of gold, and most recently an ancient seeming journal that contained a map with several very interesting locations marked - it seems it has notated some of the crash sites of Aeor itself. The rest of the journal is thick and difficult to read, in a language that seems extremely archaic - if you want to read more of it, you’ll need to dedicate some specific time to trying to translate it.
Currently, you all sit at your campfire, tucked away under the entrance to a deep, yawning cavern underground - the only indication that this is the potential site of untold treasure is a few old and worn looking ropes already fastened to the outside edge of the hole. You can descend using them, though it looks a bit precarious.

It isn't a particularly difficult descent. the ropes are old and weathered, but they hold, and down you go. As you drop lower, the shift in the surroundings is obvious - and probably familiar. It turns from rock dirt to carved stone and metal, the intricate patterns of Aeorian architecture. You'll eventually hit the floor to a large cavern. It's wildly dark in here, only very dimly lit by a few ancient sigils, still glowing blue. It's still so fucking cold in here.
It's very quiet in here is the first thing you'll notice. Too quiet. hehe. The only noise is the distant rumbling of stone falling from a ceiling, or the deep rumbles of earthen shifting. You're in a large cavern - partially collapsed, but it seems to be a square or perhaps a park of some sort, surrounded by empty buildings. You can't see much, because I don't think any of you have dark vision, but there's a few things of note:
- A few signs remain on the front of the buildings and the corners of the streets. - There is a distant blue glow down a side-street, though it seems like between you and it the corridor is collapsed, a large piece of debris stuck in the way. There's a glint from under it, however. - Who's holding the journal right now? Whoever it is will feel it in their pack, warm and comforting against them. It feels soothing, and calming. Like a loved one rubbing your back when you feel ill. ]
anyway, she's looking around the cavern immediately, trying to interpret some of these signs on the street corners and buildings.]

It seems you are in the a portion of the ARS Ward, a hub for artisans and skilled craftsmen. The ones nearby are LABORATORY B-14, which seems mostly collapsed, and a large, mundane looking apartment building that reads ____ QUARTERS. You see other signs that seem to indicate you are near a CREST HUB of some sort - pointing down the way where the debris is blocking.
Owner, what is the glow? Would you like to use a skill perhaps to investigate what it might be? It is certainly blue, and glowy. Beyond the debris, it seems like it might look like a bubble shape of some sort.

Sidon and Guy, two things sort of happen in conjunction. As you both get closer to the debris, you'll notice that it seems to have crushed something. A woman's body, face down - It won't have decayed much in this enviroment, but it seems like it's been here long enough it has frozen over. Blonde hair is splayed out across the ground, and she's wearing a large pack. Since Sidon is lifting the rock, you'll see that it clearly crushed her in a rather gross way, but since Guy is trying to grab something, he can take the Pack. You have +1 Days of Supplies now! Jerky lasts forever. Yay!
