[the way you guys keep typing this makes me laugh every time
anyway, yes! she would. he's talking about the church of aelfric - or rather, the church of all the gods, but aelfric the most. when people talk about the church they're usually talking about the sacred guard, and the sanctum knights that make up the organization, as well as important pontiffs, inquisitors, and other servants of the gods. in fact - even though her brain is A S S I M I L A T E D - it might ping as familiar. the sacred flame... there's a dumb white haired priest who says stuff like that all the time where you used to be, right?
[she can't go back to the weapons shop for obvious reasons, so that's out.
is there anything interesting she can pick up while walking around town, before she reunites with the others? she's interested in any gossip in general, but also more specific sightings of a cleric and inquisitor, alone or who happen to be traveling in a group.
also, is there anything in the way of transportation around these parts? or are they just hoofing it?]
[hmmmm roll a d20 for me so i can tell you what you find, but - i will tell you this: the only transportation around theirs parts your feeties. you gotta walk to the church.
maybe you might find some horses, but that'd be for your hunter to figure out.]
a general walk around of the town nets you a couple of people talking about the inquisitor they saw making his way out of the tavern earlier. he had a rather placid look on his face, which the townspeople found creepy. there was also a thief in purple wandering around the area, and another hunter, though the whispers about the hunter are less prevalent. people around here don't really like beastlings all that much.
in any case, those people aren't here anymore - they seem to have left town.
other than that - a couple of people come up to harley to ask her for a dance. with that sixteen, if she complies, they reward her with a boost in reputation - you essentially have a point of inspiration. any bad roll you do, you can reroll once for free if you'd like.]
