she doesn't quite flinch when she feels that sudden sense of fear, but her expression flickers ever so slightly. it's a strange thing, really. for some reason, some part of her also looks at this man who raised her and who reacts with anger at the most basic of questions, and she feels the urge to punch him in the face until he's shitting out his teeth for at least a week.
but that's ridiculous. she may be willing to fuck around, but she isn't going to do something that would definitely get her killed.
so she smiles and glances at the other two, gesturing at the door with a lazy wave of her hand.]

and... you're out on the street! as you come out, you can see a few things.
first, there's the tavern not far from here. it's down the road a bit, and it's helpfully labeled with a big tankard picture on the outside, as well as a sign. the sign reads Montraine's Tavern - but you know this to be the tavern father was speaking about.
there's also a weapons shop nearby, as well as a nice little cafe. father suggested the tavern, but you know that you can find information in all of these places - it is your job to do so, after all.
