[WELL LISTEN THAT'S BECAUSE HIS DREAM WAS CUTE AND DOMESTIC UNTIL DAHYUK STARTED SCREAMING ABOUT THE POLICE BEING FAKE]
No, I'm okay. [Though now that he pays attention, he realizes that he's more okay than he really should be, even with his pain tolerance.] You are too?
[He just goes back to casually resting his hand against the shaft of this arrow as he has been, like a bozo, and glances from these other two bozos back to Luke for a moment.]
Mm, yep! At least it doesn't hurt, right?
[Glances back at them as they consider finding a door and then promptly abandon that.]
[HELLO. Not two fussers fussing except Dahut isn't normal enough to fuss about Luke's shrapnel when they're both dead and Luke isn't casually resting his hand on a piece anyway...]
Hey! It doesn't hurt, so it's fine! [GOD. Good question, though... They're out here trying to find a DOOR.] Mm... Well, they should be fine as long as they're here and not sleeping, so... We can just keep an eye on them for a bit, I think?
[While Gregor and Arthur talk, Dahut and Luke begin to feel a surge of power; it's warm, and yet they understand it will only last briefly.
Dahut and Luke's wounds disappear from their body, leaving them to appear well and uninjured. And then, just for the next few moments, they realize that Arthur and Gregor can perceive them—see them as they are, and hear their voices.]
[And then, from Arthur and Gregor's perspective, Luke and Dahut return to flames. From Luke and Dahut's view, on the other hand, their injuries return to their bodies, although still without feeling as before.
Wherever Arthur and Gregor must go, they cannot follow. Instead, they and they alone will see a flash of light in the distance. They get the feeling that they should pursue it.]
[HIS ARROW HAND REST IS BACK. He immediately rests his hand on it again as he gives both Gregor and Arthur a fond look. Then, turning to Luke again:]
Well, that w— [Oh there's a flash of light out there. WELL. It's not like they're doing anything else in this eternal Hell Void they're currently trapped in, right?? There's a little sigh and he glances back.]
Shall we go see what Hell has in store for us, Monsieur Luke?
[He'd bat it away again, but as soon as they're separated from Gregor and Arthur, the smile drops him his face.]
I hope they'll be alright. [GREGOR YOUR DEPRESSION. But there's nothing they can do about it now, so he nods. He could really pick the shrapnel out of his body but that's not important right now.
He looks towards the light, and he hesitates a little--but there's no alternative, is there? He doesn't want to stay here, and that's the only way to go.]
Monsieur Luke... [STILL THE SAME OLD LUKE.] We're already dead! We can't get any more dead, you know.
[But he will still follow along behind him a bit, since he doesn't want to DEAL with mister HERO OVER HERE being UNREASONABLE when they have HELL TO EXPLORE. Or whatever the fuck that light is.]
Maybe we'll be able to have a nice dream for once...?
[Off they go! Their journey takes them around Hell, though in the opposite direction that Gregor and Arthur head off in. Where the latter two venture deeper into Hell, where it grows more ominous, Luke and Dahut seem to be moving towards... the outskirts, or whatever counts as the outskirts of Hell.
Eventually, they come across the source of light—a flash of a ring, resting on someone's finger. I cannot describe the individual to you, because the Chosen One can be any gacha character/has like 8 different possible canon identities. THEY ARE A HUMAN, OF SOME KIND.
In their presence, Dahut and Luke will grasp the entirety of their presences here. That this individual, the Ringbearer Chosen who wields the ring of the Flamebringer, called for help in guiding the lost souls of Hell, and so you two responded. With your assistance, there's a chance that Arthur and Gregor may be freed and returned to where they should be—but the rest is ultimately up to those two and the choice they make.
Now, it's time for you two return to where you should be. The Chosen One steps aside, revealing a glowing portal. Step through it, and your duty will be finished.]
Fortunately Dahut is a good little chia pet and follows along to this Much Human Very Person. I actually don't remember the state of Luke's amnesia at this moment so MAYBE HE REALIZES THIS IS ALL SUPER WEIRD FOR A RELATIVE NORMIE? MAYBE HE DOESN'T. WHO'S TO SAY.
At least they were able to help other people. That, if nothing else, makes Luke feel a little bit better. He looks at the portal, then looks back at Dahut.]
But wow yeah they sure did just get led to this normal human person who's just humaning here in hell normally with this normal power ring. Dahut feels satisfied in a job well done, considering they'd... done their best to help sweet Arthur and Gregor, and they'll hopefully be fine. Damn, answering the call of the Ringbearer Chosen is hard work. He'll nod to the figure as they step away from the portal.]
Mission over! Let's go rest.
[Does he even know where the hell they're going back to? No! But that's fine, he's tired after this longass journey and he wants to take a nap. He'll reach out to grab hold of one of Luke's hands since the other is still resting on this fuckin arrow, and presumably, they will both step through the portal.]
They step through the portal, and return to [jan doesn't know noises]. They will retain their injuries, except said injuries are now not fatal and won't kill them again immediately upon return. You can decide however that works, I don't know your rules. Either they've healed over a little or they are just not lethal for some reason. The arrow in Dahut and the shrapnel in Luke will not be following them, though.
Furthermore, they will find the following items in their possession:
Dahut: A giant net. Luke: Bags of takeout burgers, enough to feed three people or so.
Finally, they will experience effects that fade sometime before trial start:
Dahut: Occasionally, he will mistake other people for his mother whom he believes to be alive in that moment (and will not think it weird that she's alive). Luke: Occasionally, he will be overcome with the belief that the other person has lost their mind/is potentially dangerous, much like Dahyuk the deliveryman was.

Alright. [He doubts they'll conk out again but just in case, they will be ready to hit them with 2x4s and flaming cakes.]

Goodbye forever now.]
