[You've got your graduation trip sorted out, and the rest of the school day goes by uneventfully.
But after school, you've got a swimming competition! Again, I must stress I don't know how swimming competitions work. One step on your road to the nationals. You'll be swimming in the order of Lovelace, Sinclair, Arthur, Gregor.
Lovelace nails her part of the relay, beating her opponent easily. Unfortunately, the momentum is lost with Sinclair, who loses to his.
Next up... You can chat a bit before doing your part of the competition if you want, but also, do a roll when you're up.]
Arthur is mediocre with a 10, while his opponent fares better than him with a 15.
It probably goes without saying that Gregor, who barely succeeds in swimming at all, does not beat his opponent despite his opponent being a mediocre 11.
Lovelace looks like she wants to die. Thankfully, she did so well that somehow she compensates for all of your losses, because I cannot actually cancel your nationals, so your team wins... just barely... JUST BARELY!!!]
You two almost gave me a heart attack. You're going to do better in nationals, right?
[Your public embarrassment... Yeah, you better live with that for a while!! Shame yourself into improvement!!!
Anyway, Arthur and Gregor can work out any negativity as they hang out afterwards/go back home together again. With their competition, it's getting a bit late now, enough that those still loitering around the streets are probably pushing their luck. Which is to say, they'll run into Charles and Rodya at some point, and the two will buy Arthur and Gregor some ice cream if they seem down.
Eventually, they return home. After going through their usual rituals of dinner with family, and then homework and studying, they'll hit their beds and dream...]
