For a moment, they are simply watching the larger crystal door before them - one that seems more akin to a mirror, as events unfold and play through the crystal's surface but the clear of Dion's throat and voice has the figure turning. Their held tilts, curious, until their hand raises to carefully push back their hood and a man stares back.
Rather than the familiar sight of prosthetic casing covering their right arm, it is instead the same blue crystal that makes up the tower. It shows all of his right arm, through the peeks of his neck from around the robe's collar and even reaches up onto parts of his face. Red eyes blink a few times before a warm, polite smile shows, red ears flicking back. ]
Sir Dion, 'tis good to see you again, my friend. ..I apologize we could not have done better for you earlier.
[ he takes note of the differences, recalling how metis had looked in the memory they shared.
but he has little time to think on it, guilt sitting heavy in his heart. ]
Please do not apologize to me, Sir Metis. I have no words to convey my guilt and regret at having injured you so. I do not expect your forgiveness, but I hope that you will at least allow me to inquire after your well-being.
[ Oh, Dion... Metis approaches closer, enough so that he can reach and take one of Dion's hand into his own. It's a dream so it isn't a real touch but it's close enough - their dream touch as he holds his hand. ]

Whether we wake up remembering said dream is not always guaranteed, however.

It may not, but you will have to forgive me in that case since I still will not blame you for said outcome.

That I was. Fortunate we gotten another pod when we did, so all three of us were able to get right in and receive complete healing.
