I guess it may depend if you want to try with more outgoing individuals or not.
Sidon-sama, for example, is one of the friendliest and most approachable people here.
But then there are people like Lucien-sama and Viktor-sama who may be more difficult to get to know.

Mister Sidon really is friendly. Callisto seemed uncomfortable with that, which stands to the former statement.

Those two are also skittish... It would make sense why they get along. I find that Mister Tavelle is a good conversationalist.

I enjoy all types of conversations and stories. Variety keeps things from going stale.

It would be strange to say I enjoy listening to someone talk about themselves...

I enjoy getting to know others.

I don't think it's strange at all! I love learning about others as well.
A lot of people are rather cagey here though, I've noticed.
But that's fine. You're allowed to be shy.

I'm not sure if shy is the right word, but it can be used for a number of them.

For the most part, if we meet in person, I try to make them comfortable with a cup of tea.

What is your favorite type of tea?

A simple black tea. Sometimes with some lemon.

Do you enjoy tea?

It is calming.

I will admit that I do not really have much of a sense of taste though.

Do you mean yourself as not a picky eater?

Oh, no, I mean I can't actually taste it. But since coming here, I still need to eat so I do.

That's a shame, but I do understand to an extent. Before coming to Nut & Bolt, I didn't need to eat, either. Tea... Was a social occasion where I could speak to my masters.

Perhaps it's better not to know, then you won't know the experience lost.

Aha, perhaps! I know there is a saying that goes... better to have loved and lost than to have never lost at all? You can apply it to other situations.

But not everyone would agree with the sentiment. The loss may hurt more than how joyful the experience was.

You cannot have one without the other in most cases. Love begets sorrow... And in sorrow's survival, love also lives on.

The heart can be so fragile. Taste buds, not so much.

I am sure some may have very fragile taste buds.

Oh, like black pepper being spicy?

Yes, something like that!
People keep trying to trick me into eating very spicy foods because they think I'd be surprised by it.

It does have a sensation that isn't tied to taste... Do you not feel it?

I do, but I have a generally high tolerance for it...
But I guess I can pretend like it burns after one bite if it makes them feel better.

There is no need to pretend for others, Mister Owner. I believe they would fine more enjoyment knowing the truth and perhaps finding something you can experience.

I do worry for your stomach... Callisto often had tummy aches.
