Purchased it from the market planetside, so we don't have people deciding that "just 30 minutes" is an acceptable amount of time to make way for others. It's refurbished, but it works just like the other two. Got it cycling for now, but it should be ready by tonight.
Well... Even with the extra pod, if we keep ending up with a bunch of people getting hurt on Thursdays, we'll need as much help as we can get to make sure they're okay, right? Because someone's still going to have to wait to get healed.
I don't like not being able to do anything, so... I want to learn first aid. Could you help me with that?
Mmm, that's right. Being able to stabilize people as they wait, or even triaging them to help figure out who should be placed in a pod upon their arrival...
[ they look at kazuki for a moment, thoughtful, and then slowly get up, making their way over to a shelf nearby and brushing away a few draping plants to take a book down. they page through it a little bit, removing some bits of paper here and there and tossing them into a bin. ]
I arrived already well-versed in medicine, but we have a book here just in case any of the medical staff were injured grievously and couldn't aid... It's got all the basics of triage, and some stabilizing techniques - how to tie a tourniquet and such. I could train you a bit with some hands-on simulations as well if that is how you'd prefer to learn.
[ shuts it eventually. it's just a little first aid for dummies book, that includes just simple instructions on things like tourniquets, packing wounds if need be, creating temporary splits, and more first aid things. they will hand it to him. ]
We can start from square one. It's overwhelming at first, but you can learn. And you won't be alone. The simulation rooms can provide the training we need if you'd like to take a day and practice some of the basics of emergency care.

I'm here as well, of course, and I will always do my best to care for whoever will allow me to do so.

I think that would be a good idea. I've never had to think about this kind of stuff before, you know? Jumping in without any kind of practice sounds like it'll just get someone hurt even worse.
