Happy to report that I've got some that the locals had drawn up. They were kind enough to provide me with some copies, if you'd like to take a look with me. I'll be charting the old fashioned way and then entering them as data.

Turns out, they do. They have a rich tradition of story telling. You're - also from Earth, if I remember right? Their version of the North Star, the one that they navigate by, is part of a cluster of stars they refer to as Firestar. Apparently he was a mighty leader in their oral history that came from humble beginnings, learning the ways of their people and rising to glory.
There was Brambleclaw, Goosefeather... they have an, ah, interesting naming convention on this planet.
