[ A blanket of darkness falls upon all your senses, shrouding everything in dark as the holodeck hums into life, the technology whirring along. Eventually, all is quiet, and nothing sounds out audibly. Eventually, blue starts to fill your vision, with the interior looking like the inside of a massive... tower? Everything around is made of blue crystal, with gold accents here and there, as are the golden stairs leading straight up to a set of doors.
The doors open, greeting you, and within looks like an observatory sized room of sorts. There's a circular dark pattern with various lines of gold etched into it in signs of a likely planet system but none of it looks familiar. There is a door to the right, and straight ahead looks like a door made of crystal that glows brighter than the crystal walls around you.
A figure stands in the middle, a staff in their right hand with a hood held over their head. They do not seem to notice you just yet, attention fixated on whatever they can see from that bright crystal door in front of them. ]
not what sheba expected. sheba isn't really sure what she expected, actually? this is a dream, so maybe it's not all that weird for their surroundings to be unfamiliar, but she hadn't really thought much about what to expect. she had just been worried, after seeing the execution.
carefully, she approaches the figure up ahead, and then clears her throat.]
[ As she ponders, they simply watch the larger crystal door before them - one that seems more akin to a mirror, as events unfold and play through the crystal's surface but as she approaches, the figure turns. Their head tilts, curious, until their hand raises to carefully push back their hood and a man stares back.
Rather than the familiar sight of prosthetic casing covering their right arm, it is instead the same blue crystal that makes up the tower. It shows all over his right arm, through the peeks of his neck from around the robe's collar and even reaches up onto parts of his face. Red eyes blink a few times before a warm, polite smile shows, red ears flicking back. ]
Well then, normally visitors request entry through the guard stationed at the front. What can I do for you, my friend?
[ Furry... they have notable "cat" ears, and red eyes with sharp cat-like pupils. So I GUESS.
He stares at her for a moment, blinking slowly... then that lightly dazed look in his eyes fill with recognition with ears flicking up. ]
..Ah, yes. I recognize you, Sheba. I apologize, it takes a bit getting used to the whole dreaming sequence... I have only met Sir Dahut and Sir Luke on one other occasion so these dreams have a bit trouble sticking to me. [ Still, he smiles warmly. ] Tis good to see you, I hope you're faring well..?
Oh, that's quite kind of you to do. Though, I suppose technically speaking I am resting... just dreaming as I do.
[ It's said with clear amusement, turning now and gesturing for her to follow. He'll lead her to that door towards the right of the room, which leads into a nice cozy room with... okay, books everywhere. In stacks on the floor, on the desk, and various bookshelves but there are chairs in here. ]
Come, sit, let's have a chat. I would offer you some tea but, well.. [ This is a Dream. ]
Well, yes, but... how restful could your sleep be if I'm interrupting your dreams during it?
[but alas, that does not get her to leave and let him get back to his nap. instead, she follows him to the door and passes through into the room. ...ooh, books. she looks curious, trying to get a peek at their titles, but then nods and takes a seat.]
Even if we had any, we'd probably just wake up thirsty anyway. [...] But the sentiment is nice. Thank you.
I imagine it is on the same level of taking short naps.
[ Which is fine, he has no problem with enjoying her dream company as they take seats. Unfortunately any peeking at the titles doesn't show much - since it is in a language she does not know. ]
Quite true. [ He looks over to the rest of the room for a moment before back to her. ] ..I surmise Sir Dion is with you all now?

Yes. He made it to us safely. [...] He was very relieved to hear that the three of you survived.

That's a relief... I'm certain he may pay a visit, knowing him, but I am glad he at least has arrived in piece.
