[ brushing more snow away to reveal what looks to be soft-looking fluffy fungi clinging to the roots. its network runs with soft speckles of light, similar to static discharge that gently slide through it from cap to cap. ] We'll leave some behind. I don't want to take all of them. Just enough to make it by this week...
Might be able to grow some of your own, if you can get some of those spores.

There's got to be a greenhouse somewhere on the ship and if not, better put a work order in for one. [ this is a half-joke. he think it'd be neat if they could have one... ya never know what you might need! ]

It looks good. I think we can harvest a few without ruining the network of them. A little goes a long way.
