[ Mizuki falls into a step alongside them, slipping out a thoughtful hum. ]

Do you know about Tokyo? It's a huuuge city, just like the one we came from—only, you know, with more sun and less vampires. But it's pretty dense, so you don't get nature like this unless you leave town.

[ Tromp tromp indeed. Mizuki doesn't trek through the true wilds and it kind of shows, but she is, at least, fit enough that she doesn't struggle. She just, occasionally, gets caught on a bush here, a branch there, shifts through brush with perhaps a touch of uncertainty; she's definitely allowing Io to take the lead here, shifting through the openings they give into the woods. ]

Mostly for business, so it's usually to other cities... Though, they're definitely better about having more trees around. I love finding the shrines that are tucked away in the woods when I am out.

[ She slips out a small 'oop' noise, ducking; thankfully, she's on the shorter side, so it isn't terribly difficult to dodge the hanging branches. Many do come fairly low, though, and she certainly isn't coming out of this without pine needles clinging to her hair. ]

Shinto shrines—they're aaall over Japan, dedicated to all sorts of gods and deities out there. There's one close to home that I've visited a lot since I was a kid.

Depends on the shrine! In Shinto, there's all sorts of gods—Of the sun and moon, the sea and wind, rice, wisdom... Not that there's anything stopping you from praying to all of them. I don't usually have a specific one in mind when I go.
