[ also, it's not fuckin COLD here. but they take an actual, metal (math) compass to carefully chart the distance between one point and another before updating it in the system. ]
It's kind of fun to go a little analog every now and then. This is something the locals did, and were kind enough to provide, so I figured I'd learn how they charted things and then reference them against the digital recordings we take.
