so! good news. we did hear back from them, though it was a brief message due to interference, and they're going to give us a proper response next week on what the plan is. this doesn't erase what happened yesterday or friday in the least, but it's some small measure of something that we're actually going to have results for you guys. bad news, can't stay on this planet as sexy tourists, sorry. they get a little feral? i guess? and we don't really want to lose any of you to a 90s vampire movie scenario. adrastea called it a blood orgy, which a lot of us hate and thebe laughed about.

thaaat i don't have an answer for. i wish i did, because i also think it's something that they could communicate faster to us. my guess for it would be that they're dealing with the red tape for it. or at least that's going to be their excuse. the course is already charted, we can't really make any deviations unless it's for a safer route, so it could also be a programming thing.
