io's home is here. this is where they live judging by some of the empty mugs. in any case, they don't seem surprised he is here! they just gesture him over. it's just a screen that's running some mumbojumbo diagnostics on the two pod-shaped icons reflected there. the pods themselves are just glowing a very soft white, though it tinges green as it's being checked. ]
Just making sure the pods are working right. Should be equipped to handle most injuries should anything happen while on planet or even here. Bit of a relief...
[He will walk over to stand next to Io then, nerd solidarity...
He looks at the pods. He wonders if they would have helped Luke, when Luke was distrustful of the ship. Maybe Scien? Maybe not, with his personality. Maybe Dahut, if he had more time.
It's a depressing line of thought, but Eunhyuk isn't so much depressed as he is trying to be realistic. What's done is done. All he can do now is go forward.]
How do you use it?
[he'll learn so he can help stuff people in it for CYOAS!!!!!!]
[ nerd solidairity. io remains seated, but doesn't turn anything off or move anything away. the depressing thought is not just eunhyuk's even when it isn't emotion share week. there's just a very reverent silence. because yeah.
man they miss dahut ;w; ... lil green freak.
they glance downwards at their hands a moment before turning a little on the stool to gesture to the two pods just chillin' ]
It's straightforward, once someone's in the pod, it can begin its work accelerating their healing. It's capable of being used solo, but if someone's quite injured it's best to help them inside.
[can't believe eunhyuk is gonna murder viktor in io's medbay
but yes... reverent silence for their sweet dahut.... eunhyuk listens closely to the explanation he'll need when he tries to shove viktor's corpse back into it,]
Can it be opened mid-healing? Or is the patient sealed inside until it's done?
[ anyways thanks for waiting. can't believe their favorite meow meow is gonna murder in io's medbay....... betrayal. give me more threads before you die (jk.... unless u want to?) ]
There's a privacy lock on the inside, but in theory one could force it open should something happen, or if there is need of an emergency evacuation. It would require a great deal of force however.
[ they don't like the sound of having to ever really do that because... ] In doing so, however, you risk interrupting the healing process.

kissus
Would there be other side-effects if that happened? Like your injuries getting worse?

The process would stop - anything would remain partially healed or wouldn't be nearly as effective.

Could the stasis pods be forced open too?

tiredly: ]
Nope. Those ones are sealed up pretty tight.
