No, it has been working, but I wanted to make some changes and upgrades to it before it was open to everyone.
It was mostly the layout! Some of it wasn't organized and convenient to maneuver through... Then I wanted to change the layout for the eel creek. I wanted to upgrade some of the technology, too... Mostly temperature regulation and water system.

... Yes. When the manor was without a master, it would go somewhere else... And the place would go dark until someone shows up at the doorstep.
I don't know how long in between—it's hard to know until someone shows up and you piece context clues together. Usually, it's hundreds of years is the pattern I noticed.
