I'm alright. The other four had it far worse than I did, and Io was able to repair my wetware without issue after I spent some time in the pods. [ a pause of consideration. two street cats sort of gauging one another again after finding a flicker of tension. ] Still, I would have subjected myself to far worse to make sure that they were brought back.
... I know what it's like, to lose people. [ it's not. stiff, but it is a bit slow, like it's also costing them a little here even if they're also genuine. ] If I can help it, I do what I can to ensure that no one else has to suffer with it, least of all with those most important to them.
[ that gives them a pause. her pause. you got the unmask after this thread happened. ]
He and I talked about them in particular, yes. It's... a conundrum for us. We've been spending the week so far slowly leaving a haze, and it hasn't fully cleared up yet.
The storms are one of the things that hasn't cleared up. I can explain what they are, at least, and know that they happen. But any in particular that happened during our tour aren't something that I remember currently.

throné is here! she's got a cute dress on, and from under it are snake scales, crawling up across her face. right now they're a matte black. she's got a latte (thank you margaret for introducing her to these) and she's reading. but when she sees them, she pauses, putting her book down.
for a second, the scales ripple bright colors, danger colors, and then they settle down back into black. a beat.]
... Hello. [...] How are you doing, after all of that?
[she's... trying.]

He's good. You're lucky to have one another.

... Yes. [she agrees, finally, and she's a little less tense.] I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have him.
[a beat. the snake scales recede a little, and settle.]
I did have a question for you, though.
