I would be unhappy to have to stand in front of some forty-odd people and be yelled at. [so she gets it.] You are a convenient scapegoat.

[and sure she doesn't quite trust any of them yet, but she's smart enough to know that sometimes, people are doing the best with the circumstances they've been handed, and she's not so quick to write them off.]

I would agree that it would be a waste of your time and energy... But some express and work in different ways. [ They are understanding. ] How have you found the ship locations so far?

... I like the observation deck. The stars are dizzying, but there's something beautiful about them. They're so... close, in comparison.

[dropoffs]

I quite like the observation deck myself... I don't recognize any of the stars or constellations, but as you said they're so close.

It feels like the entire cosmos is within grasp.

[naeddre]

It just might be.

[she picks at her sleeve, absently.]

I don't know that I could tell you the names of stars or constellations in my own world. I think that's more Temenos's wheelhouse.

I wouldn't know the name of the stars, either. I never served a scholar.

[ Which is a disappointment, they think. ]

You never served a scholar? [what does that mean... are you a fate]
