Guess you could use some extra hands? Let me know when & where, Senior bud.
I am seeking perspective. The ship is equipped with weaponry to clear out asteroids and debris, but it may not be enough to combat the unknown. The rest of them say I am being paranoid because there have been very few reports of such encounter.
The unknown... well, tough to say if what you've got would hold up against something you don't know about, but what's your concern? Figure if it's mostly meant for clearing it's probably not very fast, no?
The weaponry we have equipped have the speed of ████x per millisecond, which can handle meteor storms. The targeting and tracking sensors catch inanimate objects well without the presence of a pilot, but a sentient body is recommended for supervision.
You're right that if it is something with a mind of its own, it may evade our reprisal. I am deciding to recalibrate our targeting and tracking sensors, but maintenance on the mechanical arms will be needed.
[ And they will send a coordinate pin to Gregor. Orange lights will lead him to the spot if he clicks on the pin. It is a hallway........ such is void location that can only work in pcs/audiences.
[ They hold out a container of OIL FLUID OOZE while using their datapad with their other hand to open up a seamless panel that moves aside from the wall to show all the little sci-fi nut and bolts. ]
[ There is a digital panel for the compartment where this pew pew rests and it spells MAINTENANCE MODE. With another swipe, it shows the schematic of the arm and the joints and which spots that need a bit of lubrication highlighted. ]
Your other arm should not be able to get in the way.
[ We are just using our animal crossing can full of oil to water this mechanical flower in different places. ]
Exactly, yeah. It's just as weird as it is useful, but... you get used to having some other you's memories shoved in and then removed again after a while.

Are you capable of lubricating joints?

Pretty fancy. All right, so where's this going?

[he leans in to study the diagram, peering at the highlighted spots...]
Seems easy enough.

But Callisto is still going to stare at the bug arm, rudely. ]

after a little staring, though, he says-]
Ask if you're gonna ask. Makes it weirder if you don't.
[faintly uncomfortable vibes. c'mon dude (neutral).]

[ As like. A question. At least they are straight-forward. ]

[you don't have to be fully a literal bug to be seen as a pest.]

[ To them, Gregor is still human. ]
