Yeah... [ synthetic sigh ] We didn't even know we were going to get you guys, we got correspondence to come pick you up a few days before we even got you. I really wish we'd had more time to complete the upgrade growing pains and at least some of the construction.
It really is, isn't it? But I'm glad that a lot of you are taking things in stride, or at least interested in learning - not a lot else to do when the ship is only these couple of levels and a corner of the concourse.
[ but they nod at the questions, bringing their holo screen around. ]
So we're used to looking at the data, which makes it easier for us to spot the less obvious things, but the Eudora's pretty good about flagging what's wrong with her. The usual "red means bad, green means good" that you can see a lot of the time for colorcoding. Unless you're colorblind, which makes it harder, but I think we have a setting for that.
[ pointing at things with his bug arm like I'M MAKING A POINT (no) ]
None of us are, but I'm not sure about you guys. We never got medical records in your dockets.
[ they do nod, though, and reach to poke at the flagged data that greggor indicates. it's for the auto-cook in the galley. ]
Yep, you got it. This is a minor fix that we can just set for the Eudora to look into, and she'll tell us if we need to send in a repair drone or if we need an actual person to figure it out.

But. Trying to make the best of this situation.

So what is it you're looking for here? Anything that'll stand out if you don't know much of what you're looking at?
[because like. he can try. but he's not the data guy.]

[he's looking closer at their screen, after they move it around.]
So, it's like-?
[using his normal arm bc i ALWAYS HAVE TO SPECIFY NOW to point at anything that's flagged in this data.]
