Well - I was going to ask, as you're the requisitions officer, if we might get an extra bunk so Luke doesn't need to sleep on the floor. It sounds like you might be sympathetic to his plight.
Consider it done. Let me pull some strings and see if I can't get it in by tomorrow.
[ a little blip noise as they send something off and as they lean back, there is a metallic ting! that makes them stiffen a little before settling donw. ]
I don't mind explaining it, though. I've mostly been making sure our supplies are organized and cataloged, checking that everything's still tight in the cargo bay, which is kind of slog to get to right now... And there are certain tools we'll need for each drop-off so I wanted to be sure we have enough for everyone on board. Suits for the local climate, hover pallets. There aren't any planet samples for me to organize and catalog just yet, so I'm mostly housekeeping.
That's quite a lot of work for one person. [especially when it doesn't seem like there is presently any need for defense or weapons officers... she's already mentally planning a reorganization. maybe this leaks.]
It is, but we all do a lot of work around here, but I'm used to the hustle of it. Do what you can to make sure the house works, even if it's been putting up a bit of a fight lately.

[but oh - ]
You haven't been overdoing it, have you?

[ a little shake of the head, followed by a bunny face that kind of sweat drops a little. ]
I'll be okay. It's just been a rigorous few days. My back doesn't appreciate it.

Do you need the doctor?

[ they sweep a hand over a hologram keyboard to start writing in a few things. ]
You're in the triplet room, aren't you? I can see about a spare bunk for sure... Extra blankets too?

[maybe luke will stop sleeping on the floor.]
What sort of work were you doing these past few days, if you don't mind my asking?
